After a huge outpouring of support on Facebook, A&E broke under the pressure and reinstated Phil Robertson back on their hit show, Duck Dynasty.

Millions of people showed their support for Phil, with all the stories being liked and shared.

It’s unclear what the liberals will do in the face of this, but I’m sure we’ll have to listen to the media complain about A&E’s decision.

If you support Phil returning back to TV, leave your comment below!

  1. They want Phil back after the suits just figured how much dollars were lost… hope they go to another channel or start their own…. Cracker Barrel and A&E you dummies are gone….!!!

  2. Is he returning to filming… the next season …? Or are they merely trying to appease the general public, initially? There are several shows already filmed for next year. Are they bringing him back to finish the season? Or just manipulating the statistics to get everyone happy?

  3. It is time Christians step in and let the media know what is socially acceptable and not…the morales of this nation are going down the tube….literally

  4. Woo hoo!!!! Congrats Christians of America we stood with our brother in Christ & made A&E HEAR US!!!! I'M THRILLED BY THIS NEWS!

  5. I support you Phil Robertson. You never said anything hateful and you never lied. God Bless you and your family always.

  6. Keep speaking out for freedom of speech rights and all of our rights under the Bill of Rights and our Constitution :)

  7. It's too bad A&E didn't have the backbone to stand up to the hate mange ring liberals to begin with; however, I am glad to hear that they have chosen to rectify their hasty decision and huge mistake

  8. Christians are peaceful by nature and by what is taught to them. Typically, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Unfortunately, society has listened & cracked under pressure in the past due to these squeaky wheels. It is nice to know that christianity has prevailed. Putting all beliefs & opinions aside, Phil was quoting a book. Yes, he believes what this book says, as do many, but why do they judge Phil for quoting the Bible?

  9. God dam bleeding heart liberals… Tell you what to think, say and can't do.. This is a Free country, and he has the right to believe, and say what he want… I love this family, if more people were like them this country would be in much better shape then it is now..

  10. I Support Phil and the rest of the Robertsons ..BUT…I will not support A&E any longer…..the only reason they are backpedaling is due to the income loss of A&E…they are still just looking out for themselves ….The Man Was Done Dirty !!!! by A&E , NAACP , GLAAD Etc. Phil Robertson is a Good Man …… He is owed an apology by all and as we all know ..That Will Never Happen

  11. I am sure that the lost viewers and the revenue they lost had something to do with their decision on this. When the Robertson's contract is up they should move to a different NETWORK

  12. To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:20.

The people of God are directed to the Scriptures as their safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness. Satan employs every possible device to prevent men from obtaining a knowledge of the Bible; for its plain utterances reveal his deceptions. . . . So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested.
Those who endeavor to obey all the commandments of God will be opposed and derided. They can stand only in God. In order to endure the trial before them, they must understand the will of God as revealed in His Word; they can honor Him only as they have a right conception of His character, government, and purposes, and act in accordance with them. None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict. . . .
The apostle Paul declared, looking down to the last days: "The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine" (2 Timothy 4:3). That time has fully come. The multitudes do not want Bible truth, because it interferes with the desires of the sinful, world-loving heart; and Satan supplies the deceptions which they love.
But God will have a people upon the earth to maintain the Bible, and the Bible only, as the standard of all doctrines and the basis of all reforms. The opinions of learned men, the deductions of science, the creeds or decisions of ecclesiastical councils, as numerous and discordant as are the churches which they represent, the voice of the majority–not one nor all of these should be regarded as evidence for or against any point of religious faith. Before accepting any doctrine or precept, we should demand a plain "Thus saith the Lord" in its support.
Satan is constantly endeavoring to attract attention to man in the place of God. He leads the people to look to bishops, to pastors, to professors of theology, as their guides, instead of searching the Scriptures to learn their duty for themselves. Then, by controlling the minds of these leaders, he can influence the multitudes according to his will.

  15. Cracker Barrel rescinded their decision to remove Duck Commander stock. They claim they made a huge error! Governor Huckabee had a large hand in that I'm sure! God bless all the people who love and honor God and appreciate how God worked in the Robertson family by watching Duck Dynasty and standing up for Phil during this test. I think God passed him a good grade and now Phil is back. Do you ever wonder what we could change in this world we live in if we continued to stand up and be counted? What could we change then, eh?

  16. Man some of you sure show your ignorance. They had to put him back on its in the contract for christ sakes. Aint no one won anything yet. And even if they go to another network, this aint over by a long site. Why is it people get all geeked up over a mans strong beliefs. When EVERYONE is suppose to be that way. Mayne if people would be more like them folk, We may turn America around. Instead people set around the boob tube worrying about their entertainment than the survival of america.Even if DD goes to another network, you can be sure the lgbc will be following them around waiting for one word to pounce on them again. And around and around we go. More diversions. WAKE UP AMERICA> YOUR GOING DOWN IN FLAMES AND YOUR GLUED TO YOUR TV

  17. The suits at A&E shot their golden goose with a bazooka. Now they're performing emergency CPR to save their butts and their network because they caved to GLAAD, a small minority of whinny liberals who don't even watch the show.

  18. I think they know they are in line for a law suite….the creator of the show used to be in gay porno films….he didn't like what was said…and he wanted him out…well if I were Phil I would say thank you but no thank you and go to another network.

  19. Damn straight!! I think metro gay and PC people found out what happens when they test the limits. They hit the tipping point! I stand with Phil !

  20. Phil Robertson needs to tell A&E to take a hike. That family should be on a Christian Network instead of a network filled with riff raff!

  21. James Anderson You won't see anything from our Liberal Media. They are not going to admit that they were defeated.

  22. I sure do support Phil coming back! I took four items back to Cracker Barrel last night that I had purchased earlier in the afternoon and asked for a credit and I told them it was because of their poor treatment of Phil and his family. Also told them we would not be eating there any longer, and we were frequent Cracker Barrel diners.

  23. FYI = PHIL ROBERTSON IS STILL SUSPENDED
A&E are HOPING we will all fall for their BOGUS ATTEMPT to HIDE the fact he is still suspended from filming future episodes – and MISS the fact that they were always going to run what was ALREADY FILMED in January.
A&E HOPE we'll buy it and stop boycotting them & the Duck Dynasty Brand vs Duck Commander Brand
DO NOT STOP — fact is — they have changed nothing

  24. I'll believe it when the Robertson's announce it! Its the right choice, glad I will be able to continue to watch it, if its true!

  25. Jame FYI = PHIL ROBERTSON IS STILL SUSPENDED

  27. Congrats and now finish out your time and leave for another network….we all know that is why they caved in cause so many networks were offering you a place to come to… Glad to have u back!!!! we love you Phil and the whole Duck Commander crew!!!!

  28. Congrats and now finish out your time and leave for another network….we all know that is why they caved in cause so many networks were offering you a place to come to… Glad to have u back!!!! we love you Phil and the whole Duck Commander crew!!!!

  29. 9 of the 10 episodes slated to run Jan-Mar have already been filmed. IF he is back on the show it won't be until mid-March.

  30. I would like to hear this from Phil himself. the shows are prerecorded and a&e is trying to save it money. if you don't hear it from Phil, dont believe it.

  31. Michelle Ross it's Robertson not Robinson but agree after this contract I would go to a different network !

  32. Well, well, well, imagine that! I am sure the A&E dummies FINALLY figured out how to count their money that has been earned because of the Robertsons. And, yes, I think they should take Duck Commander and move to another network
    .

  33. This is NOT A CREDIBLE STORY!! Please continue to BAN A&E and all sponsors etc. Until you personally see an announcement directly from the Robertson clan or a major, credible news sight. This story is an attempt to trick us into tuning into the DD marathon because of fallen ratings.

  34. It was a free country. It hasn't been for awhile. Russia is literally more free than we are now. And they pay less taxes. But I know what you are saying.

  35. If they do reinstate him. The Robertson's should tell A and E to stick it and cancel their contract. They sure as hell don't need A and E.

  36. Sandra Bailey Lee He wasn't telling ANYONE that they needed to be his religion – he was ANSWERING A QUESTION with HIS beliefs and that is what he was treated unfairly for.

  37. It was about freedom of religion to me. And if you go back and read the actual interview it is not prejudice at all toward gays or blacks. You have to read the whole article to know weather you agree or not. It does basically say in the Bible that all the things he mentioned will keep you from heaven. The Bible saying this means to me that if you do these things he mentioned and keep on and on doing them and never repent or admit your sin and accept Jesus as your Savior you are in jeopardy of not going on to heaven with those that do. But, of course we are ALL in jeopardy of not going on to heaven because we are all basically sinners and think prejudice thoughts all the time about some person or the other weather it is about someone's appearance, race, how they are dressed, how much money they have or don't have, sexual orientation, religion, club or gang they are in……on and on and on you can choose. No one in this world is free of prejudice. I, as a Christian, believe that we all need to be more tolerant of each other and I will pray that we can all learn that from this happening and because of the BBC Oprah interview where she def prejudice to a certain race and generations of ppl while complaining about those that are prejudice against blacks. We all fall short and can learn from this.

  39. think it's great that a christian is finally standing up for what is right. We have become complacent in everything. If one personcan speak out and this results in prayer being taken out of school, what do you think a mass of christians can do? The return of Phil Robertson is one thing…

  40. Woohoo yes! I'm Canadian & my family & I love DD we were watching all the reruns last night! Congrats Phil!!!!

  41. Jay Behrens Why is what he said "stupid" because YOU said so? It's his belief and his opinion and he has just as much right and anyone else – even you, to state it. He said noting to 'take responsibility' for. IT IS WHAT HE BELIEVES and he is on a reality show so he was being REAL! The reporter at that magazine should not have asked the question if they weren't going to like the answer. He has always maintained that he is a very religious man.

  42. Love is all I have for this man. I think it's great that someone was finally not scared to stand for what they believe in their heart. GOD IS GREAT! A&E made a good choice.

  43. All I have to say is, would Jesus be condescending, or kind? Would someone deemed to be the holiest to ever set foot on this earth be arrogant and hostile, or humble and loving? I'm telling you right now, reading through all the comments, and opinions of 99% of people who claim to be Christians here on Facebook, NONE of you are acting Christlike, in the very least. I think Jesus would overlook the fact that you're "defending" what the bible says, and see that you yourselves are not doing things (or even trying or attempting to do them) in a Christlike manner, like he would do them. You're alienating and insulting and being rude and condescending towards the people who you're supposed to ALWAYS show love and grace and disciple. No one ever became a Christian by being told "you're wrong" or by being shown nothing but hate and lack of love and understanding. I know Jesus would be showing everyone who deviated from what the guidelines of the bible (which is pretty much EVERYONE, people claiming to be Christian included) love and compassion and guiding them gently with kind words, not by being awful and saying things along the line of "I'm better than you!" (Even though I'm sure he was), or "you're going to fry in hell while I go up to heaven!" In a cynical, sarcastic tone. You all seriously need to revisit your actions and words and reflect upon the fact that the way you're acting is just as bad as anyone else who isn't a Christian, if not worse. People are DYING and choosing to end their lives (the ONLY choice being made by them) because of your un-Christlike, unloving, disgraceful behavior and words. If you think Jesus would be okay with or approve of that you might be closer to the hell you're condemning everyone else to than they are themselves. Choose to be kind, choose to be loving towards your neighbor (whoever they may be!), choose to be humble and offer grace and relationship with others and you'll see what a difference it makes, not only if you're trying to get others to love Jesus as well, but if you're trying to make the world a better place. 45. The media might have gotten away with attacking Paula Deen but they picked on the wrong person this time in Phil Robertson, he's the commander!!

  46. We need more Phil Robertsons to stand up for God and what is true! Every other group are allowed their opinion so Christians it's time we stood up. Thank you Phil! May God Bless You.

  47. Jay Behrens my well-thought-out, well-written, cogent post defending Southerners, Christians, rednecks and hillbillies (which I can proudly claim to be all 4) seems to have disappeared. Funny how that happened . . . Must have dinged a nerve or something.

  48. All I have to say is Wow over a lot of the comments on here. At this time of the season, where a lot of religious people praise Jesus for his birth and yet we all fight over the silly controversy of religion vs gays?? And then seeing everyone bash others and put them down for their views(opinions)? For those who are religious just remember your bible…do unto others, as others would do unto you….why would you even make others feel like crap just for stating an opinion. Aren't we all better than making others feel crappy? or putting others down? It is nice that we will see Phil back on the show yes, but for all of us around the globe to fight and argue over this is plain silly. I think a lot of people need to re-prioritize their lives….if we all plan on living without war or violence, then maybe we should all stop arguing over stupid things and help each other like a good friend or neighbour at this time of year. Merry Christmas or Happy Yule to everyone!!

  49. Jay Behrens This also means millons of people can protest, boycot or otherwise show support for someone they feel has been wronged. A&E has just had the same thing done to them that GLAAD and other groups did to Robertson. Phil R. and A&E both had a decision to make after the controversy. Both have to live with that decision.

  50. I completely support Phil coming back to the show. If he didnt my family wouldn't have way he'd another show on A & E again! That's absolutely ridiculous that he was taken off! Come on people! What has happened to this world! Rise up and stand for what is right!

  51. Awesome ! We have rights to our beilefs and if they didn't want to know his they shouldn't have asked him. I stand with the bible just like Phil.

  52. Thank god. Everyone has there own opinions. Not all will be liked. But i do believe this is the best things that theyve done

  53. I am more of a Liberal minded person, but what I think what A&D did to him was just down right shameful. The view is from a Religious view since he went through sex, drugs and rock and roll when he was young, and he found his way back to Religion to climb out of it. It would be good news for him since he was only answer a direct question in the interview. He is a mild one. I have not seen anybody pulling the hate mongers of the on tv religious leaders. We need to get a thick skin and respect each others points of view. He did not used homophobic hate language in the interview using the g or f words.

  54. The media and the same people who are always stirring the pot have twisted his words it is so uncalled for. I he never said anything racist , he only spoke of his life experiences in his life .As far as gays go they were in a list of what his bible says are sinners and that it was up to God to judge NOT him.. This is such a joke . Another witch hunt just like with Paula Deen . I wonder when Al Sharptin is going to show up .

  55. Jynxie TheMermaid so let me get this straight. You're not allowed to be offended but other people are? wow Even if it is a persons right to freedom of speech and religious belief? Why are other groups aloud to speak out and practice the lifestyle they believe in? It doesnt just go one way. If people have to be tolerant of others, then they have to be tolerant of others, not just the groups you agree with.

  56. Although I agree with Phil about the bible, I also agree with freedom of speech..But, I also believe that WE are not the judge, God is, no one else! We each answer for our own sins..

  57. Jay, Phil has the right to say and believe what he said, A&E has the right to fire him for any reason they want, and the public has the right to boycott the show for any reason they want. Yes, Phil may have offended some people, but there is hardly no way for any one to say anything religiously biased that will not offend someone. That's just a fact. And let us not forget, GQ asked a loaded question. They were trying to stir the pot. They put him on the hot plate in hopes he would squirm, and he didn't.

A&E then made a decision which offended what appears to be a majority of their viewing audience. And in the same way A&E made the decision to fire Phil, the audience made a decision to fire A&E. It's all fair game.

Now we just sit back and see who caves.

  58. As a Christian, if the Bible is quoted word for word, we should not be accused of hating anyone. It’s my understanding that Phil quoted the Bible in making his remarks about homosexuals. I believe there will be a lot of surprised people at Judgement because they didn’t believe in God and have not accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

  59. Jynxie TheMermaid As a christian,I wont be quiet,my right to speak is as great as anyones, and if my faith offends you, then good, merry christmas and God bless you !

  60. I feel Phil Robertson did nothing wrong! He voiced his opinions and although some may not agree, its his constitutional right! He is a GODLY man with a huge heart! He meant no harm to anyone! GOD BLESS Phil Robertson!

  61. Oh my god yes, I am from canada and this is my favourite show and Phil is my fav on the show. Hell ya

  62. Tim Leister you obviously are like the liberal media who didnt put out EVERYTHING he said, just the part edited out of context,he condemned no one and wished no one ill will. He,just like allf us has the right to an opinion and to express it

  63. phil robertson and his family are the best reality show out there and better then watching some of these ! they are a fun and loving family that my family has grown to love watching . we watch it as a family every week …. that show and phil is what brings families together to sit down and watch something . family yes ……….

  64. Oh Hell yea I back him ! I stopped watching A&E since they did this . I did watch that station a lot but not at all this week. Bring back phil !!!

  65. Awesome! Congrats Phil Robertson (&Family) but I think perhaps A&E needs dumping and you guys need to move to a new Station!

  66. Jay Behrens you're allowed your own opinion . You should be ashamed he's not stupid he has his right ta think as he does also ! just like you !!

  67. Wooooo Hooooo America we roared and conquered. Its about time we don't allow liberals to trump our religious and traditional beliefs

  68. Congrats Mr. Robertson, many Americans support both your Christianity and freedom of speech and I sir am one of them. May God Bless you for taking a stand and evangelizing as we have been told to do.

  69. Perhaps this is what the US needed to wake up the complacient Americans. I am proud that America finially took a stand in majority unity and happy happy happy it was for Phil Robertson.

  70. Yay !! I love the.Duck Dynasty Robertson it would not be the same with Phil…If they didn't not let him go back I would gave.never watched A&E again…So CONGRATS Phil…

  71. I believe people should keep it about his first amendment and not as a way to bash gays. Phil never said anything unkind or mean about anyone,we should learn from his example. I also think A and E did this as a publicity stunt and couldn't give a rats butt about offending anyone.

  72. What makes you so sure about that? Do you personally know him to be able to make a statement like that? Or are you calling him a phony yuppie just because he's rich? Liberals are always against the rich, yet look at all the rich liberals there are, but when a rich conservative comes along they want to bash him.

  73. If we, as a group, were to speak this loud about bring God back to our children in school and into the Govt we would not be having the problems we are as a country………..

  74. My understanding is they already finished filming for the next season. It would be difficult to write him out.

  75. at some point, you have to wonder if part of this was just to increase sales and ratings…too many "changed minds" in such a short time. Regardless, A & E has made their stance known – they are actively supporting the LGBT community…why continue supporting it?

  76. Jynxie TheMermaid – Atheist can voice their opinions, and be covered under every single right bestowed upon them via the Constitution, Bill of Rights, State and Federal Laws….etc., yet when a Christian voices their opinion, he or she is a Homophobic hater. You keep your mouth shut, and we'll keep our mouths shut. Seems to be a very biased nation now, and just for your information (because I'm sure you DON'T know), this country was founded upon JUDEA CHRISTIAN values/beliefs. If you don't like it, then you should probably move to another country. The problem with individuals such as yourself, is the moral and ethical decay/decline in the country is so severe, that even the mention of Jesus Christ sends all of you in a furious frenzy. So, fair is fair (also, according to ALL of our Constitutional rights), we will stand for what we believe, just as you stand for your unbelief. Period. Also, it should be mandatory for anyone who does not believe in our Lord and Savior to have to work all Christian holidays, without being paid at a holiday rate, or time and a half, to include Christmas and Easter. I think it's VERY hypocritical for people who do not believe in the Lord, to work Christian holidays being paid at a holiday rate, OR getting the time off for those particular holidays. Christians do not judge and we love everyone, just as the Lord asks – just because we follow the word of God, doesn't make us evil or haters. We pray. God forbid we even do that, right? I guess we're just Bible carrying, gun toting fanatics….We will not compromise our principles or deny our Lord just because you seemingly "wise" scholars say so. Freedom of Speech and Religion was founded for a reason; now everyone should implement their rights, and quit crying about it when the other person does!

  77. Angel Rose Since you brought up 'uninformed ignorance', perhaps you are just unaware that the First Amendment that guarantees Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion refer to the GOVERNMENT restricting speech or religion. The actions taken by A&E in NO WAY restrict his First Amendment rights because A&E is not part of the government. A business is free to chastise, penalize, or fire employees for statements that embarrass or otherwise reflect badly upon their employer.

Where was your outrage when Alec Baldwin lost his show over offensive comments made about gays? Oh yeah… there wasn't any.

  78. I did not support Phil in this. There are things that he said that were not a part of the bible verse he was supposedly direct quoting (comparing homosexuality to beastiality for example). The way he worded his words was in really poor taste and came off as bigoted. I cannot support that. It is very possible to be a Christian and have those beliefs and not come off as being hateful to an entire group of people. Parts of his opinion weren’t even about religion especially the stuff he said about oppressed African Americans. Where’s the excuse for that? People are taking this way to far and saying the Network and others are trying to repress Christian values, which is not the case. If he would have worded his words in a different way it would have been fine. Also, I’m not sure how this is a freedom of speech issue since he was not prosecuted for his words. He went against the policy of the business he is representing and therefore should have had consequences for it. I’m not from the United States but I’m pretty sure freedom of speech does not protect you from the consequences of your hateful words. I did not agree with him being kicked off indefinitely but did think there should have been consequences for his words.

  79. Not all liberals are gonna do what you insinuating they might. As in be whinny. Alot of liberals do have logic so they are happy that A&E is not gonna fire one of their employees over a legal opinon to express in this demcratic nation even though it might not be PC. And this whole thing ain’t about liberals vs. Conservatives it is about more or less a right that all citizens have to express themselves and to de-bunk someone elses expression when they see fit. This liberal don’t liked to be stereotyped by the way. And is against Phill’s little homaphobic rant for myself because thats not how my brain works but I know it is stupied to have a big howdy do over it so if you don’t like Phill don’t watch his show or buy his merchandise. Does that make sense? Don’t like something in the media change channel, read a differnt publication or click on another link because common sense should be every word under law of the land is kosher to express. Does this answer your question for what liberals are gonna do?

  81. Love the family and show, but would rather them not return to A&E. They’re better than them. They disrespect and trashed that man for stand up for his beliefs(when they knew from the start where he stood), they aren’t doing thus because of realizing they were wrong they’re doing this because they’re selfish and realized how much money they were loosing. I will not be watching A&E’s channel any longer. Shame on them for not standing by someone they hired to do just what he done, (be himself) God bless the Robertson’s, and I’ll pray God sends you to a station that will respect you and not try to make you into the crap made up reality they’ve got on all there other so called “real lives” smh.

  82. You have a right to your own opinion and I applaud Phil for not taking the fake road and answering the way people want you to be so your politically correct! If you don’t like it, don’t watch it, Tune into Miley Cyrus or Honey Boo Boo…..that’s more their speed I’d assume!

  83. It’s about damn time!! Stand strong Phil….do what you do best! If A&E pulls another dumb stunt like this again….proceed to another network! Thanks to everyone for the support…were so thankful to have you back!!
