[Watch] Sheriff Babeu: America Running Out Of Time – Military Must Be Sent To Mexican Border

Ed Berliner of Newsmax TV interviews Sheriff Paul Babeu of Pinal County, Arizona, addressing the issue of border security and the complete lack of any serious federal enforcement. That situation does not exist as a result of shortcomings on the part of the Border Patrol agents themselves or the ICE agents who swore an oath to defend their country.

It is a direct result of their corrupt leadership who are willfully violating their sworn oaths, and that goes to the DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson and “president” B. Hussein Obama.

Sheriff Babeu calls the open southern border the gravest national security threat that our nation faces because it provides a means by which those who wish to do us harm have access to our country. That threat can come from anywhere in the world, everybody knows that our border is wide open.

Sheriff Babeu points out how in his sector, the Tucson sector, which is one of nine along the Mexican border, there were 123,000 illegals intercepted last year. He says, “If that many ‘just basic illegals’ let’s say they all just want to get a job, if they can make it through, deep into the heart of our country, it stands to reason that those people with military training, who are very disciplined, have deliberate plans, who have all the financial resources at their disposal, that they could also make it in undetected and could harm our nation.”

The sheriff says that any claims of assistance or resources being sent to protect the border by the federal government is just “more talk and more lies.”

He then shows a booking sheet of a 17-time deportee who is a cartel member who will undoubtedly return again. Babeu describes Obama as having “Absolutely failed in his core responsibility in the Constitution to protect and defend our nation here at home.”

Babeu is then asked if the “president” has bald-faced lied to the American people to this point on immigration and the border. Babeu answers “Yes and look no further than my own county.”  He describes how two years ago the feds “released three to four-hundred serious criminals, violent offenders in many cases, two who were charged with manslaughter, several that were charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, sexual molestation of children – illegals. These aren’t even criminals from our country, but foreign countries, largely Mexico, and the ‘president’ just summarily released them into our communities.”

Babeu then details how the Obama paid liar Jay Carney accused him of lying and it was only through FOIA requests that the truth came out that it was in fact Obama and his minions who were and still are the liars.

Sheriff Babeu says in no uncertain terms, he’s had enough of Mexico not doing their part to secure the border and taking cheap shots at Americans such as Governor Rick Perry when they attempt to do something to deal with the problem. That problem is being exacerbated by the same Mexican president who is criticizing Perry’s efforts.

He says “This isn’t Iraq or Afghanistan or some far-flung nation that we continue to send our troops and defend other countries, it’s like when are we going to put our own country, America, first? This is about our national security.

Babeu describes how the terrorists are telling us that they are coming, they are beheading Americans to drive the point home and asks why do we not secure our own border, citing our willingness to station over 28,000 troops to guard South Korea, but no commitment to protect our own nation. We should put troops on the Mexican border, say Babeu, at least until it is secured.
