In a new interview with The Washington Times, Academy Award winner and Hollywood’s most-famous conservative, Jon Voight, sounded the alarm bells over the tyranny represented by President Obama and announced that President Obama’s detrimental effects on America must be stopped.
“Today is Veteran’s Day. We honor all our living and fallen heroes – thousands of young men who sacrificed their lives so we can live as free men. One of our own young Marines, Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, was just released from a Mexican prison after long tortuous months, and we just found out from his own words during a Greta Van Susteran interview that he tried to kill himself with a broken light bulb that he plunged into his neck hoping to die, as to not endure his torture any longer,” Voight said.
Voight soon shifted to comparing the treatment of Marine Sgt. Tahmooressi to that of Bowe Bergdahl, an American Army deserter who was received via an unlawful trade conducted by President Obama for five high-ranking terrorists he released from Guantanamo Bay.
“Needless to say, [Tahmooressi’s] incarceration was a total lie. He was totally innocent. President Obama has released known terrorist murderers in a trade for an American soldier who was believed to be a deserter,” Voight noted.
“Obama had nothing to say for Sgt. Tahmooressi, who endured this unthinkable torture. He made no attempt to free him. Not one word was said in his defense. Obama’s view of what is right and wrong is totally distorted. There should be total outrage for his policies he will put into action. He must be stopped. Every freedom loving American should voice their outrage against his executive privilege.”
Voight also commented on the president’s continued push for executive orders to secure amnesty for millions of illegals who remain in the country in violation of our laws.
“He wants to legalize all the illegal Mexicans, and every other illegal immigrant from other countries as well. Why? For their vote, for the 2016 election, for the Democrats. It will make no difference on the billions of dollars it will cost the American tax payers. It made no difference on the latest illegals he let come across the borders a few months ago. Children – unaccompanied by their parents, carrying all kind of illnesses – assimilating them into our society and our schools,” Voight vented.
Mr. Voight is not only a talented actor, but serves as a voice of reason in an industry dominated by leftist loons and “progressive” parrots who recite liberal mantras within the bubble that is Hollywood.
You cannot argue with anything Voight said. OBOLA has broken his Oath of Office and committed treason so many times I’ve lost count. How long are you so-called soldiers going to sick back and watch as he continues to work with and fund the very people that have killed so many of our brothers and sisters in arms? Where are all the good soldiers, police and people? This country just sits on its fat/stupid asses, instead of going to the jobs they used to have thanks to this gov’t and everyone we’ve had for the last 25 years, while waiting on the table scraps they’re trying to take away. The time is long overdue to remove anyone from power that has broken the Constitution and we must never allow anyone “EVER” again to have power on any level that violates the document that this country was founded on. Remember, that piece of paper is what made this country the beacon of hope and light to the rest of the world for about the last 200 years. Yes in times past we’ve made bad choices and mistakes but there has always been people fighting to right those wrongs to make things equal for everyone, but not a socialist scale. If people would stop acting like cowards and letting these “fake” liberals, who are really authoritarians, tell everyone to accept anything they push on us and if we don’t call us racists while taxing us into oblivion, then we might find some common decency and get back to work instead of waiting on a gov’t handout, which they’re doing they’re best to take away. I’m tired of them telling us that everything that made this country great is now bad and we must move into a “new” direction. This direction they speak of is a post-industrial HELL!!! I just want to be able to work and provide for my family without having to live paycheck to paycheck. Then maybe I could hold my head up again and be the proud American I once was…
