On Wednesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” conservative talker Mark Levin said John Boehner should be deposed as speaker of the House.
“I wouldn’t be sitting in a room with John Boehner — I’d be sitting a room with conservatives figuring out how to replace John Boehner,” Levin said. “I hate to tell you, that’s my view. John Boehner, you know sir. … This country is bigger than the government. Our lives are bigger than the government. We’ll be able to eat, we’ll be able to clothe ourselves, we’ll be able to go to the movies. If the EPA isn’t down our throats and in our face, we’ll still live our lives perfectly fine. The Republicans need to accept this.”
“Boehner is repeating what Obama says,” he added. “The bottom line is this: The debt is the interest on the debt that is due. We bring in far more money than is required to pay the interest on the debt to cover Social Security and Medicare, to cover the military and the vets. And what he’s talking about — and Boehner is doing — is paying for all the rest of the stuff.”
