Conservative Fighters Musician Alan Jackson has accomplished everything possible in the country music game. Over the course of his career, Jackson has “recorded 16 studio albums, three greatest hits albums, two Christmas albums, two gospel albums and several compilations.”
He has sold over 80 million albums across the globe, won two Grammys, 16 CMA Awards, and 17 ACM awards – among others.
Now, Jackson will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2017.
One of Jackson’s daughters, Ali, shares a touching tribute to her father, per True Country Magazine:
“The world sees you as follows: a great musician, an impressive songwriter and a talented vocalist. I see you as: my best friend, the guy that taught me that how you treat people matters more than anything else and taught me just how to stand on my own two feet,” the 23-year old wrote in a Facebook post whose settings have since been changed to private (quote via OneCountry). “You’re every daughter’s dream father. Thank you for raising us in a house filled with Jesus and music, and always making sure we knew whatever our dream was could be our reality. You’re the best in more ways than one Big A.”
Jackson and his wife Denise have been married since 1979 and have three daughters. Mattie Denise was born in 1990, Alexandra “Ali” Jane in 1993 and Dani Grace in 1997. His family life has often featured prominently in his songs, and when he’s not working, the country icon generally prefers to avoid the trappings of fame, spending most of his time quietly at home.
How sweet was that? Just from this one small message alone people should be able to tell that Alan is a kind, loving man who cares for his family deeply – and they care for him just as much
